Dear Humanitarian Friends,Have you ever considered giving someone a gift that lasts a lifetime? A lifetime? That’s right. Because of the generous gifts from donors like you, many projects were fully funded from last year’s catalog. Here’s an example of some of the great work that was made possible:

Malaria is endemic in Sudan, especially in the South. The poorest people are most vulnerable because they cannot afford a simple treated bed net. Last year, generous donors provided ADRA with nets that are protecting families against disease and death.

Children in isolated villages in Chile go to school without breakfast because there isn’t enough food at home to share. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, ADRA is able to provide 200 children with breakfast each day so they have a better chance to learn and succeed.
English is rapidly becoming the language of commerce in Namibia. But marginalized rural farmers do not have the English skills necessary to conduct business and are being exploited. Thanks to donors, farmers are getting English language learning tapes so that they can be better prepared to negotiate fair trade and services.

Widespread destruction and disease caused by massive flooding create life-threatening crises. More than 70 percent of Vietnamese live in disaster-prone areas, and they need ADRA to be able to respond immediately when a disaster strikes. Your donations to this fund have helped make ADRA prepared for the next disaster!

Sight-impaired children living in Naxcivan, Azerbaijan, often cannot attend the region’s only special school because of the cost of room and board. Thanks to the generosity of donors, ADRA is able to meet the needs of many of these children, giving them the chance to get an education.
