On Monday, May 20, a tornado raked through parts of Oklahoma, leaving in its wake thousands of destroyed homes and of victims.

At least 120 people were injured in what President Barack Obama called "one of the most destructive tornadoes in history" reports NBC News.

"ADRA is committed to assist in the emergency recovery of this disaster and our hearts and prayers go out to all the victims and their families," said Jonathan Duffy, President of ADRA International.

An assessment team is on site and ADRA has already committed supplies including emergency kits and cleaning equipment to the most affected areas.
